Is LedgerFree really free to start?
Yes. The Solo plan is free forever with basic expense tracking and up to 3 invoices per month. No credit card required.
Can I upgrade or downgrade my plan anytime?
Absolutely. You can upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time. Changes take effect immediately, and we prorate your billing.
How does LedgerFree handle taxes?
LedgerFree auto-categorizes your income and expenses throughout the year. When tax season comes, you can export a ready-to-use summary report for your accountant.
Is my financial data secure?
Absolutely. All data is encrypted with 256-bit AES, both in transit and at rest. We never share or sell your financial information.
Does LedgerFree integrate with my bank?
The Pro and Studio plans offer read-only bank connections, so transactions flow in automatically. We use Plaid to connect securely with thousands of financial institutions.
Can I use LedgerFree if I have multiple clients?
The Studio plan is built for exactly this. It includes multi-client management, separate ledgers per client, and custom invoice branding.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Discover) as well as PayPal. Enterprise customers can also pay by invoice.
How do I cancel my subscription?
You can cancel anytime from your account settings. Your data stays accessible in read-only mode for 90 days in case you change your mind.
